The Swans
Instructions:
One of Kristína’s paintings has originated in autumn, after her visit to the lakes around Banská Štiavnica. These lakes that resemble neither the common recreational areas nor the tarns in the mountains evoke the impression of existence somewhere on the borderline between a cultivated and a natural area. The author has expressed this paradox by placing two diving swans into an artificial lake. First, it was only on the canvas, later in three-dimensional form at the unexpected location of Malý Vodárenský tajch artificial lake.
